How Do I...
Make An Appointment?
Ring the practice on 0844 477 3507 to book an appointment.
Urgent cases are always seen on the same day.
If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to see a GP within two working days though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP. If you don't need an appointment within two working days, you also have the option to book up to two weeks in advance if this is more convenient for you.
Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions. Nurses' appointments can be booked up to four weeks in advance. Our minor illness nurses are qualified to prescribe a range of medications.
Let us know if more than one person in the family needs to be seen. We can give you a longer appointment if necessary.
You can book to have a telephone consultation with a doctor. If you leave your number the doctor will ring you back.
How Do I... Obtain A Home Visit?
We do ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible. However, we can visit you at home if your medical condition means you cannot attend the practice. Please ring before 10.30am to
arrange a visit.
Home visits are undertaken when a patient’s medical condition prevents attendance at the surgery. Transport problems do not justify a visit. Please remember that more equipment and tests are available at the surgery. Doctors can often see three or four patients at the surgery in the time it takes to do a home visit. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls. Your co-operation to assist us in this matter is appreciated.
